We welcome membership applications year round. Annual membership rates for 2021:

• Full, associate and affiliate members: R500.
• Student/Trainee members: R200.
• Registered students: Free

We try our best to process new applications rapidly, but please remember that the guild is entirely run by volunteers, all of whom are working editors. Accepted members will pay a pro-rata amount for their first year of membership.

Along with your basic contact information, you will be asked to submit:

1. A current curriculum vitae.
2. Requested membership type (see explanation).
3. Requested genre and systems expertise (see explanation).
4. Three professional references. These people must be readily contactable by email, and must be able to vouch for your requests in (2), (3) and (4)
5. IMDB profile link (if applicable).
